![]() I loaded Norton 360 beta instead and it seems better. I tried the Kaspersky Labs AV and wasn't impressed. ![]() If you installed antivirus software, maybe that's the guilty party. I installed all of my applications before installing any AV software. That said, I'm not sure why you're having the issues you're reporting. Even the Photoshop OpenGL Acceleration (you get prompted about this when you launch Photoshop (I always run the 64-bit version of it)) works. While I haven't tried using any of them heavily, the fact that they all load and seem to behave normally is a good sign. I launched several of the apps.Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver.they all loaded up just fine and seem to behave normally. I put that in and installation proceeded normally. The items from the first disc loaded, and I was prompted for disc 2. I selected the applications I wanted (went with the default installation). The error went away and only the warning remained. The warning was that I didn't meet minimum OS requirements (XP SP-2/Vista SP-1). The error was that I had Internet Explorer running and that installation could not proceed until I closed it. After deactivating it from Vista and rebuilding my machine to Windows 7 Beta () 圆4, I went to install Adobe CS4. I purchased the Adobe Creative Suite CS4 Web Premium and it ran flawlessly in Vista. (there was a way to fix this I just can't remember right now) Ill post back here if I can figure this out too. I'm working to see what I can do to make Setup.exe work right but I don't want to screw things up to much. So if you have the key for your CS4 programs just go to Adobe and Download them manualy and then install them. This is what I found Setup.exe will show up in Task Manager, but will close seconds later and there is no Event of Setup.exe having an error and closing in Event Viewer but if you run Winbootstrapper.exe, it will tell you to run Setup.exe but Winbootstrapper will show an error with MSiInstaller. But I did some researching to see what happends. I used the Setup app, and get the window where you click yes or no, and I click yes and it goes blank and nothing is there. But I had the Master Collection DVD suit, which just doesnt run with Windows 7. Well, just like you I too have the same exact problem.īut I manualy downloaded Photoshop and Dreamweaver. I might be able to help you a little bit, but Just answer a few questions ġ.Did you download CS4 (any suit) or just a single program or do you have a disc?ģ.Did you check Event Viewer to see if theres any Info on what happend?
